Prayer based on Luke 6:33. Themes: Love, Grace, Forgiveness.
Dear God, please help me to do good to those who may not necessarily do good to me. Help me to understand that doing good only to those who do good to me is not enough. I pray that I may not seek credit or recognition for my good deeds, but rather do them out of love and kindness. May I be an example of your love and grace to those around me, even to those who may not deserve it. Amen.
Verse: If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
Luke 6:33
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to do good to those who do not do good to them, as even sinners do good to those who do good to them.
