Dear Lord, as it is written in the book of Isaiah, we hear the voice of one crying in the wilderness, calling us to make ready the way for you. Help us to straighten our paths and remove any obstacles that may hinder us from fully following you. May we prepare our hearts and minds to receive you and may your presence be felt in our lives. We pray for the strength and guidance to live according to your will and to be a light in this world. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
