Praying from Luke 24:49. Themes: Promise, Power, Wait
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the promise that you have sent upon me. I pray that I may wait patiently in the city of Jerusalem until I am clothed with power from on high. I claim this promise and ask that you fill me with your Holy Spirit, so that I may be empowered to do your will and fulfill the purpose you have for my life. I trust in your faithfulness and believe that you will equip me with everything I need to serve you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
