Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise of the new covenant in your blood. As I take this cup, I claim the promise of your sacrifice and the forgiveness of my sins. I am grateful for your love and mercy that was poured out for me. May I always remember the significance of this cup and the sacrifice you made for me. Help me to live a life that honors you and reflects your love to others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
