Dear Lord, I pray that I may always be wise with the resources you have entrusted to me. Help me to use them for your glory and to be a good steward of all that you have given me. May I never be lazy or careless with the blessings you have bestowed upon me. Instead, may I invest them wisely and use them to further your kingdom. May I always remember that everything I have comes from you and that I am accountable to you for how I use it. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the opportunity to serve you. Amen.
Verse: Then why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank, and at my coming, I might have earned interest on it?’
Luke 19:23
This is a Command. The verse is a rebuke from a master to his servant for not investing his money wisely. The command is to be diligent and responsible with the resources given to us.
