Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you will avenge us quickly. I trust in your justice and righteousness. I pray that when the Son of Man comes, he will find faith on the earth. Help me to remain steadfast in my faith and to trust in your goodness, even in the midst of trials and tribulations. May my life be a testimony of your faithfulness and may I always rely on your strength and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse suggests that God will avenge quickly, but questions whether there will be faith on earth when the Son of Man returns.
