Prayer based on Luke 1:79. Themes: Salvation, Guidance, Peace.

Dear Lord,

We come before you today claiming the promise that you will shine on those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death. We ask that you would guide our feet into the way of peace. We trust in your unfailing love and your faithfulness to fulfill this promise in our lives.

We pray for those who are currently sitting in darkness and the shadow of death. We ask that you would shine your light upon them and bring them into the light of your love. We pray that you would guide their feet into the way of peace and lead them to a place of safety and security in you.

We also pray for ourselves, that we would be open to your guidance and direction. Help us to follow your lead and walk in the way of peace. May we be a light to those around us, shining your love and grace into the lives of those who need it most.

Thank you for your promise to shine on us and guide us into the way of peace. We trust in your goodness and your faithfulness to fulfill this promise in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
