Dear Lord, I pray that I may always be obedient to your commands, just as the servant in the verse was. May I never hesitate to do what you ask of me, and may I always have the humility to acknowledge that there is still room for me to grow in my faith and service to you. Thank you for your constant guidance and love. Amen.

Verse: “The servant said, ‘ Lord, it is done as you commanded, and there is still room.’
Luke 14:22

This is a Command. The servant is reporting back to the Lord that he has completed a task as commanded. There is no promise in this verse.
