Dear God, please help me to remember that my time on this earth is limited and that I must use it wisely. Please guide me to focus on the things that truly matter and to not be foolish in my pursuits. Help me to prepare for the future, not just for myself but for those who will come after me. May my actions and preparations be in alignment with your will and may I leave a positive legacy for those who will inherit what I leave behind. Amen.

Verse: “But God said to him, ‘ You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared— whose will they be?’
Luke 12:20

This is a Command. The verse is a warning to the reader to not be foolish and to be prepared for the end of their life.
