Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in your word that we will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. I pray that you fill my heart with joy and gladness as I celebrate the birth of your son, Jesus Christ. May this season be a time of rejoicing for me and for all those around me. Thank you for the gift of your son and for the hope and salvation that he brings. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
