Dear Lord, please forgive us when we pass by those in need without offering help. Help us to be like the Good Samaritan and show compassion to those who are hurting. Give us the courage to step out of our comfort zones and be a light in the darkness. May we never turn a blind eye to those who are suffering, but instead, extend a helping hand and show them your love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: By chance a certain priest was going down that way. When he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
Luke 10:31

This is a Command. The verse is a warning to the reader to not be like the priest who ignored a person in need.
