Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise of freedom that you have given us. I know that I am a descendant of Abraham, but I also know that I have been in bondage to sin and the ways of this world. But I believe in your word that says that if the Son sets us free, we will be free indeed. So, I claim that promise today and ask for your help in breaking free from the chains that have held me captive. Thank you for your love and grace that has made this possible. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say,‘ You will be made free’?”
