Prayer based on John 16:19. Themes: Salvation, Revelation, Faith

Dear Lord,

Just as Jesus perceived the questions in the hearts of those around him, we pray that you would also perceive the questions in our hearts. Help us to seek understanding and clarity in your word and in our lives.

As we inquire among ourselves, we ask for your guidance and wisdom. Help us to understand the meaning behind your words, even when they may seem confusing or difficult to comprehend.

We trust in your promise that even though we may not see you for a little while, we will see you again. May this truth bring us comfort and hope in times of uncertainty and doubt.

Thank you for always being present with us, even when we cannot see you. We pray that we may continue to seek you and grow in our faith each day.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Verse: Therefore Jesus perceived that they wanted to ask him, and he said to them,“Do you inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, ‘ A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me?’
John 16:19

This is a Command. The command is for the reader to inquire among themselves concerning Jesus’ statement about seeing him again after a little while.
