Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. I claim this promise today and ask that you help me to love others sacrificially, just as you loved us by laying down your life for us. Give me the strength and courage to put others before myself and to show them your love through my actions. May my life be a reflection of your love and may I always be willing to lay down my life for my friends. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
