Prayer based on John 13:31. Themes: Glorification, Son of Man, God’s glory.
Dear Lord,
As I reflect on the words of John 13:31, I am reminded of the promise that you have given us. You said that when the Son of Man has been glorified, you will also be glorified in him.
I claim this promise today, Lord. I pray that you will help me to live a life that brings glory to your name. May my thoughts, words, and actions reflect your love and grace to those around me.
I thank you for the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross, which has brought us salvation and eternal life. May I never forget the magnitude of this gift and may it inspire me to live a life that honors you.
I pray that you will continue to guide me and strengthen me as I seek to follow your will. May I always remember that my ultimate goal is to bring glory to your name.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
