Prayer based on John 12:7. Themes: Love, Sacrifice, Devotion.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for your words of comfort and assurance that we find in the Scriptures. As I come before you today, I claim the promise that you spoke when you said, “Leave her alone. She has kept this for the day of my burial.”

Lord, I pray that you would help me to keep my eyes fixed on you, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. Help me to trust in your plan and your timing, knowing that you are always working for my good.

May I be like the woman who anointed your feet with expensive perfume, holding nothing back in my devotion to you. May I pour out my heart and my life before you, knowing that you are worthy of all my praise and adoration.

Thank you for the promise that you will never leave me or forsake me. Help me to cling to that truth, even when the storms of life rage around me. I trust in your unfailing love and your perfect plan for my life.
