Praying from James 5:18 relating to Prayer, Provision, Faith

Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise in James 5:18. Just as Elijah prayed again and the sky gave rain, I pray that you will send rain into my life. May the dry and barren areas of my life be watered by your grace and mercy. May the earth of my heart produce its fruit, and may I bear fruit that glorifies your name. I trust in your faithfulness and believe that you will fulfill your promises in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: He prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
James 5:18

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement of what happened when Elijah prayed for rain. It is not a command to the reader.
