Praying from James 5:14 relating to Healing, Prayer, Anointing
Dear Lord,
We come before you today with heavy hearts, seeking your healing touch for those who are sick among us. We ask that you would guide us to the elders of the assembly, who can pray over us and anoint us with oil in your holy name.
We know that you are the great physician, and that you have the power to heal all manner of sickness and disease. We trust in your mercy and grace, and we ask that you would pour out your healing power upon us today.
We pray for physical healing, but we also pray for emotional and spiritual healing as well. We ask that you would bring comfort and peace to those who are struggling, and that you would give them the strength to endure their trials.
We thank you for your love and your faithfulness, and we trust in your goodness and your mercy. We pray all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
