Praying from James 5:12 relating to Integrity, Honesty, Hypocrisy.

Dear God, please help me to remember to not swear by heaven or earth or any other oath. Let my yes be yes and my no be no, so that I may always speak truthfully and avoid hypocrisy. Guide me in my words and actions, and help me to honor you in all that I do. Amen.

Verse: But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear— not by heaven, or by the earth, or by any other oath; but let your “yes” be “yes”, and your “no”, “no”, so that you don’t fall into hypocrisy.
James 5:12

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not swear by anything and to let their yes be yes and their no be no to avoid hypocrisy.
