Praying from James 3:2 relating to Sin, Perfection, Control.
Dear God, I acknowledge that I am not perfect and that I stumble in many things. Help me to be mindful of my words and to speak with kindness and love. Grant me the strength and wisdom to control my tongue and to use it for good. May my words be a reflection of your grace and may they bring healing and encouragement to those around me. Thank you for your forgiveness and for your constant presence in my life. Amen.
Verse: For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
James 3:2
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to be careful with their words, as it is a sign of being a perfect person who can control their entire body.
