Praying from Hebrews 12:10 relating to Discipline, Profit, Holiness.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you discipline us for our profit, so that we may be partakers of your holiness. I pray that you would help me to trust in your loving correction, even when it is difficult or painful. Help me to see the bigger picture and to understand that your discipline is for my ultimate good. May I always be willing to learn and grow in your ways, and may your holiness be reflected in my life. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the promise of your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: For they indeed for a few days disciplined us as seemed good to them, but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.
