Praying from Hebrews 10:27 relating to Judgment, Fear, Fire
Dear Lord, may we always remember the certain fearful expectation of judgment and the fierceness of fire that will devour the adversaries. Help us to live our lives in a way that pleases you and keeps us from being counted among the adversaries. May we always seek your guidance and follow your ways, so that we may be found blameless on the day of judgment. Amen.
Verse: but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.
Hebrews 10:27
This is a Command. The verse is warning the reader of the judgment and punishment that will come to those who are adversaries of God. The command is to turn away from being an adversary and to seek righteousness.
