Praying from Ephesians 6:4 relating to Discipline, Instruction, Nurture
Dear Lord, I pray that fathers everywhere may heed your words and not provoke their children to wrath. May they instead nurture their children in your discipline and instruction, guiding them towards a life of faith and righteousness. Help fathers to lead by example, showing their children the love and grace that you have shown us. May families be strengthened and united through your guidance and may your will be done in all things. Amen.
Verse: You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:4
This is a Command. The verse instructs fathers not to provoke their children to anger, but to raise them in the ways of the Lord through discipline and instruction.
