Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that the things we see in this world are only a shadow of the things to come. I claim this promise and trust that you have greater things in store for me. I also thank you for the gift of Christ’s body, which represents the ultimate sacrifice and love that you have for us. May I always remember this and live my life in a way that honors and glorifies you. Amen.

Colossians 2:17
