Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise you made to the children of Israel through Moses, that you would raise up a prophet from among their brothers, like him. I claim this promise for myself today, knowing that you are faithful to your word. I pray that you would raise up a prophet in my life, someone who can guide me and lead me closer to you. Help me to recognize this person when they come, and give me the courage to follow their guidance. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the promises you make to your people. Amen.
Verse: This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘ The Lord our God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me.’
