Praying from Acts 26:23. Themes: Suffering, Resurrection, Proclamation
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the promise that you have given us through your son, Jesus Christ. We know that he suffered greatly for us, and through his resurrection, he has proclaimed light to both the Jews and the Gentiles.
We claim this promise today, knowing that you are faithful to fulfill it. We ask that you would continue to shine your light on us, guiding us in all that we do. Help us to share this light with others, so that they too may come to know you and experience your love.
Thank you for the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, and for the hope that we have in his resurrection. May we always remember the power of his love and the promise of eternal life that he has given us.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.
