Dear God, as we gather here today, we pray for your guidance and wisdom. Just as Peter rose up and spoke to his brothers, we ask that you give us the courage to speak your word and share the Good News with those around us. Help us to remember that you have chosen us to be your messengers, and that through our words, the nations may come to believe in you. May we always be faithful to your calling and may your love shine through us. Amen.
Verse: When there had been much discussion, Peter rose up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among you that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the Good News and believe.
