Dear Lord, may we have the same passion and zeal as Barnabas and Paul when they heard of the false teachings spreading among the people. Help us to be quick to respond and defend the truth, even if it means tearing our clothes and crying out to the masses. Give us boldness and courage to stand up for what is right and to proclaim your name without fear. May we always be ready to defend the gospel and to share your love with those around us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Acts 14:14

This is a Command. The apostles are commanding the multitude to stop their actions that have caused distress.
