Dear Heavenly Father,

As I prepare to follow your path, I ask that you guide me and give me strength. Just as the angel instructed, help me to get dressed and put on my sandals, so that I may be ready to walk in your ways. And as the angel said to put on my cloak and follow him, I pray that you will lead me on the right path and help me to stay on it.

Thank you for your constant love and guidance. May I always be ready to follow your call and do your will.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: The angel said to him, “Get dressed and put on your sandals.” He did so. He said to him, “Put on your cloak and follow me.”
Acts 12:8

This is a Command. The angel commands the reader to get dressed, put on sandals, put on a cloak, and follow him.
