Dear Lord, like Peter, I also long to hear your voice speaking to me. May your voice guide me and direct me in all that I do. Help me to discern your will and to follow your commands, even when they may seem difficult or challenging. Give me the courage and strength to rise up and do what you ask of me, trusting in your wisdom and love. May I always be obedient to your voice and may my actions bring glory to your name. Amen.

Verse: I also heard a voice saying to me,‘ Rise, Peter, kill and eat!’

This is a Command. The voice is commanding Peter to rise and kill and eat.
