Praying from 3 John 1:11 relating to Good, Evil, Godliness

Dear God, my beloved, please guide me to always imitate that which is good and avoid that which is evil. Help me to recognize the difference between the two and choose the path that leads to righteousness. May my actions reflect your goodness and love, and may I always strive to do good in your eyes. Thank you for being with me always and showing me the way. Amen.

Verse: Beloved, don’t imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He who does good is of God. He who does evil hasn’t seen God.
3 John 1:11

This is a Command: The reader is commanded not to imitate evil, but to imitate good. The verse also implies that those who do good are of God, while those who do evil have not seen God.
