Praying from 3 John 1:10 relating to Accusation, Hospitality, Excommunication.
Dear Lord,
If it is your will for me to come, please give me the courage to call attention to the unjust deeds of those who accuse us with wicked words. Help me to speak truthfully and with love, even in the face of opposition.
Please soften the heart of those who refuse to receive the brothers and sisters in Christ, and those who would forbid and throw them out of the assembly. May they come to see the error of their ways and embrace the love and unity that comes from being part of your family.
Thank you for your guidance and protection as we navigate difficult situations. May your will be done in all things.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Therefore, if I come, I will call attention to his deeds which he does, unjustly accusing us with wicked words. Not content with this, he doesn’t receive the brothers himself, and those who would, he forbids and throws out of the assembly.
3 John 1:10
This is a Command. The reader is commanded to not unjustly accuse others with wicked words, to receive fellow believers, and to not forbid or throw them out of the assembly.
