Praying from 2 Peter 3:4 relating to Doubt, Promise, Creation.
Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise of your coming. Despite the doubts and skepticism of those who question your return, I hold fast to the hope and assurance that you will come again. I declare that your promise is true and that you are faithful to fulfill it. May I live each day in anticipation of your coming, and may I be found faithful when you return. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the promise of eternal life with you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
2 Peter 3:4
This is a Promise. The verse is referring to the promise of Jesus’ second coming, which some people were doubting. The promise is that Jesus will indeed return, despite the skepticism of some.
