Praying from 2 Corinthians 10:2. Themes: Courage, Flesh, Confidence
Dear Lord, I humbly come before you and ask that you grant me the strength and wisdom to not show false courage when I am present among those who believe that I am walking according to the flesh. Help me to be bold and confident in my faith, and to always stand firm in your truth. May my actions and words reflect your love and grace, and may I never be ashamed to proclaim your name. Thank you for your constant presence and guidance in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Yes, I beg you that I may not, when present, show courage with the confidence with which I intend to be bold against some, who consider us to be walking according to the flesh.
2 Corinthians 10:2
This is a Command. The verse is a plea from the author to the reader to not force him to act boldly against those who believe he is living a sinful life. The command is for the reader to not give the author a reason to confront them.
