Praying from 1 Peter 4:4 relating to Persecution, Holiness, Separation.

Dear Lord, I pray that you give me the strength and courage to resist the temptation to join in with those who engage in excessive and sinful behavior. Help me to stand firm in my faith and not be swayed by the opinions and criticisms of others who may speak evil of me. May my actions and words always reflect your love and grace, even in the face of opposition. Amen.

Verse: They think it is strange that you don’t run with them into the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you.
1 Peter 4:4

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not participate in the same excess of riot as others and to expect to be spoken evil of because of it.
