Praying from 1 Peter 1:22 relating to Purification, Obedience, Love

Dear God, thank you for the gift of your truth and the guidance of your Spirit. As we strive to obey your commands, we ask that you purify our souls and help us to love one another with sincere brotherly affection. May our love for each other come from the depths of our hearts and be fervent in its expression. Help us to be a shining example of your love to the world around us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
