Dear God, please help us to avoid idolatry and to stay true to your teachings. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play,” we pray that we do not fall into the trap of worshipping false idols or indulging in sinful behavior. May we always remember to put you first in our lives and to follow your commandments. Amen.
