Praying from Psalms 19:13. Themes: Humility, Obedience, Forgiveness.
Dear God, please keep me from falling into the trap of presumptuous sins. Help me to resist the temptation to give in to my own desires and to instead follow your will. May these sins never have dominion over me, but rather may I be upright and blameless in your sight. Please forgive me for any transgressions I have committed and help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. Amen.
Verse: Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins.Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright.I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.
Psalms 19:13
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to ask God to keep them from committing presumptuous sins and to not let those sins have control over them. The result of obeying this command is that the reader will be upright, blameless, and innocent of great transgression.
