Father God, I thank you for your word that guides and directs my steps. By the power of your word, I claim the promise that I will be kept from the ways of the violent. I pray that you will continue to speak to me through your word and help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. May my actions and deeds always reflect your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: As for the deeds of men, by the word of your lips, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.
