Dear Lord, as we reflect on the moment when one of the officers standing by slapped you with his hand, we pray for the strength to always stand up for what is right, even in the face of adversity. Help us to never be afraid to speak truth to power, and to always remember that you are with us, guiding us every step of the way. May we never forget the sacrifice you made for us, and may we always strive to live our lives in a way that honors you. Amen.
