Praying from Ephesians 5:6 relating to Deception, Wrath, Disobedience.
Dear God, please protect me from being deceived by empty words. Help me to discern the truth and not be swayed by false teachings. I pray that I may always walk in obedience to your will and avoid the wrath that comes upon the children of disobedience. Guide me in your ways and keep me on the path of righteousness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
Ephesians 5:6
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not be deceived by empty words, as the wrath of God comes upon those who are disobedient.
