Dear Lord Jesus, please forgive me for seeking you only for my own selfish desires and not for the signs and wonders that you perform. Help me to seek you with a pure heart and a genuine desire to know you more. May I never be satisfied with just the physical blessings you provide, but always hunger and thirst for your presence and your truth. Thank you for your grace and mercy. Amen.

Verse: Jesus answered them,“Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.
John 6:26

This is a Command. The command is to seek Jesus for who he is, not just for what he can provide.
