Dear Lord, as I read these words, I am reminded of the trials and tribulations that your disciples faced for your sake. I pray that you would watch over me and protect me as I navigate the challenges of this world. Help me to stand firm in my faith, even when faced with persecution and opposition. Give me the strength to endure any hardship that may come my way, and may my testimony be a powerful witness to those around me. May I never be ashamed of the gospel, but always be willing to stand up for what is right and true. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: “But watch yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils. You will be beaten in synagogues. You will stand before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.
Mark 13:9
