Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have given us in your word. You have said that when two people come together in marriage, they become one flesh. I pray that you would help me and my spouse to truly become one in every way. May our hearts be united in love and our minds be in agreement with one another. Help us to work together as a team, supporting and encouraging each other in all that we do. May our marriage be a reflection of your love and grace, and may we always honor and cherish one another. Thank you for the promise that we are no longer two, but one flesh. I claim this promise for my marriage today and trust that you will continue to guide us and bless us as we journey together. Amen.
Verse: and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.
