Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have given me. Just as you said to the faithful servant, “And you are to be over five cities,” I claim this promise for myself. I pray that you will give me the wisdom, strength, and courage to lead and serve in the areas that you have called me to. Help me to be a faithful steward of the talents and resources that you have entrusted to me. May I use them to bring glory to your name and to advance your kingdom. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the assurance that you will be with me every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
