Dear Lord, help us to be like men watching for their lord when he returns from the wedding feast. May we always be alert and ready for your return, eagerly awaiting your arrival. Give us the strength and courage to open the door immediately when you come knocking. May we never be caught off guard or unprepared for your coming. We pray that we may always be faithful and obedient servants, eagerly awaiting your return. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
