Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and love. I thank you for the promise that you have given us in your word, that our sins are forgiven when we love much. I confess that I am a sinner and have fallen short of your glory, but I believe in your promise that my sins are forgiven because of my love for you. I pray that you would continue to pour out your love upon me, so that I may love you more and more each day. Help me to show your love to others, and to forgive those who have wronged me. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the forgiveness of my sins. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.”
Luke 7:47

This is a Promise. The verse promises that the sins of the woman mentioned in the passage are forgiven because of her great love, while also implying that those who have been forgiven little will love little.
