Dear God, I claim the promise that you are a light for revelation to the nations and the glory of your people Israel. May your light shine brightly in my life and may I be a reflection of your glory to those around me. Help me to share your love and truth with others so that they too may come to know you. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of your presence with me always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is describing Jesus as a light for revelation to the nations and the glory of Israel. It is not giving a command to the reader.
