Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you will come in a day when I don’t expect it and in an hour when I don’t know it. Help me to always be ready for your return and to live my life in a way that pleases you. May I never be caught off guard or unprepared for your coming. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the hope that we have in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
