Prayer based on Matthew 22:30. Themes: Resurrection, Marriage, Angels

Dear God, I thank you for the promise that in the resurrection, we will be like your angels in heaven. I claim this promise and trust that you will fulfill it in my life. I pray that you help me to live a life that is pleasing to you, so that I may be counted worthy to inherit this promise. Thank you for your love and grace that sustains me each day. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven.
Matthew 22:30

This is a Promise. The verse is describing what life will be like in the resurrection, where people will be like angels in heaven and not marry or be given in marriage.
